Today is the 20th anniversary of what is to me a very important day. Twenty years ago on this very day I had my 18th birthday. This was important, as at the time Idaho had a drinking age of 18, as opposed to Washington's rather draconian 21. To make it doubly sweet, soon after my birthday Idaho bowed to Federal pressure and raised their drinking age to 21 but grandfathered in anyone who could already legally drink, leaving those whose birthday fell just a few months after mine quite, quite screwed.
Thanks Mom and Dad.

Technically, this would be the 19th anniversary of you turning 19. Idaho's drinking age was 19. It did switch to 21 after my birthday that year (April 9th) and before Cinco De Mayo.
Crap.
Well, then what the hell am I gonna do with the pinata and party hats? Not to mention the cake shaped like the number twenty drinking an Oly.
